Vicar‟s Choice Sauvignon Blanc

Pale straw, A lifted nose showing aromas passionfruit, blackcurrant, grapefruit and nettles with refreshing underlying mineral notes. A light bodied refreshing wine with typical Marlborough flavours of gooseberry, blackcurrant and grapefruit. A pleasing mineral note leads to a long lingering finish. Enjoy it on its own or with seafood or chicken served with grilled vegetables or fresh salad.

Premium Sauvignon Blanc

Pale straw with green hues, Intense, powerful aromas of passionfruit, blackcurrant, gooseberry and grapefruit, leap out of the glass. A full, crisp and powerful wine showing intense flavours of passionfruit and blackcurrant along with underlying gooseberry tones. This wine has a full yet elegant palate with subtle minerality. Well balanced acidity provides a long, lingering finish. An ideal match with antipasto, grilled seasonal vegetables or fresh seafood.

Premium Pinot Gris

Pale gold, lifted notes of pear and apricot, supported by underlying bread crust and marzipan with delicate floral notes. Medium-bodied wine with a refreshing and full palate showing ripe pear and apricot, along with touch of spice. Excellent balance with a long lingering finish. Enjoy with lightly spiced Asian curries or fresh summer salads with pan- fried scallops.

Omaka Reserve Chardonnay

Pale gold, deliciously complex nose displaying aromas of white peach and honeysuckle with subtle oak and savoury bacon notes, full-bodied and rich Chardonnay with complex stone- fruit flavours and a touch of spice supported by underlying savoury oak notes and subtle yeast autolysis characters. The palate is elegant and full with firm acidity that leads to a warm lingering finish. Perfect with seafood with rich cream based sauces or roast chicken. For a speciality cheese match try Parmesan, aged Cheddar or aged Gouda.

Godfrey's Creek Reserve Pinot Gris

Pale gold, a beautifully intense wine with characters of freshly cut white pears, bread crust and almonds, full-bodied with a soft round oily texture on the palate showing pear and almond flavours with touches of spice and bread crust. Enjoy with lightly spiced Asian cuisine or fresh summer salads with pan-fried scallops, white fish and aioli.

Pioneer Block 9 Big John Riesling (Germanic Spätlese style)

Pale gold, Intense aromas of lime and grapefruit leap from the glass with subtle hints of mandarin and apricot to give a complete complex nose, an elegant wine bursting with flavours of citrus and green apples with a delicate honeysuckle note. Made in a Germanic Spätlese style, the natural residual sugar is balanced by firm acidity creating an off-dry impression. Enjoy on its own as an alternative to sparkling wines or with seafood and other delicately flavoured foods.

Premium Pinot Gris Rose

Salmon pink in colour, this wine has aromas of wild strawberry and raspberry. On the palate, it is a fresh and appealing wine with luscious ripe fruit flavours of wild strawberry and raspberry cream. Fresh acidity is balanced by a round, elegant palate and a lingering finish. Ideal with cured salmon served with a fresh salad with a light vinaigrette as well as curries.

Premium Merlot

Dense ruby red, aromas of plum, dark cherries and a hint of spice, medium-bodied with flavours of ripe plums, cherries and boysenberries layered with hints of spicy, oak. It is an elegant and stylish wine with well balanced acidity and a warm, lingering finish. Ideal with barbecued or grilled beef or lamb.

Vicars Choice Pinot Noir

Bright ruby, Lifted notes of raspberry, strawberry and red cherry are complemented by subtle savoury notes. A medium-bodied Pinot Noir with a round, soft, full palate, supple tannins and well-balanced acidity. Cherry and raspberry flavours dominate and are supported by hints of redcurrant. Rich savoury notes create a long lingering finish. An ideal wine with succulent red meat dishes, mushroom and tomato pasta or fresh pan-fried fish.

Rapaura Reserve Merlot

Dense ruby red. Lifted aromas of plums, dark cherries, currants and tobacco leaf, medium-bodied Merlot with flavours of ripe plums, chocolate and mushroom, layered with hints of spicy oak. A full supple tannin structure supports an elegant and stylish palate with well-balanced acidity and a warm lingering finish. Ideal match with eye fillet or scotch fillet steak or with venison.

Pioneer Block 14 Doctor‟s Creek Pinot Noir

Bright ruby red. Raspberry and plum complemented by lifted floral hints and a touch of spice, Luscious with a soft, full palate and flavours of red currant, raspberries and cherries with hints of plums. Ageing in new French oak barrels ahs added warmth to the palate. This Pioneer Block Pinot Noir is perfectly matched with spring lamb or tuna.

Saint Clair first wines were only produced in 1994, but Saint Clair Family Estate reputation as one of New Zealand‟s leading wine companies with an exceptional quality record is growing fast. The Saint Clair name originates from the vineyard property, first settled by the Sinclair family. Pioneer James Sinclair built one of the first homes in Blenheim and was closely associated with the early development of the town. Over time the name of the property reverted to the original Saint Clair.
Saint Clair Family Estate is owned by Neal and Judy Ibbotson, viticulture pioneers in Marlborough since 1978. Grapes were originally supplied to local wine companies; however a desire to extend the quality achieved in the vineyard through to the finished wine led to the establishment of Saint Clair Estate Wines. Saint Clair Family Estate produce a wide range of varieties, including Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Riesling, Gewürztraminer, Pinot Noir and Merlot, available in four ranges of wines – the Reserve Range, Pioneer Block, the Premium Range and Vicar‟s Choice.
